New Sunday Night Service

I attended our Sunday Night Service last week and was really enriched by what I learned.  Here is a description and reminder of the upcoming dates. God bless.

There are many different faith traditions within the Christian
faith. Our evening services starting February 20 will focus on
the subject “Christianity’s Family Tree: What Other Christians
Believe and Why” in the hopes that we will come to a greater
understanding of the beliefs and practices of our Christian
brothers and sisters from other denominations, how they differ
from our own beliefs and practices, and what we share in
common, and what we can learn from one another.
The study is based on a video series of the same name
featuring the Reverend Adam Hamilton, founding pastor of
the Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. We will
have the following schedule:

February 20 Orthodoxy
February 27 Catholicism
March 6 Lutheranism
March 13 Presbyterianism
March 20 Anglicanism
March 27 Baptists
April 3 Pentecostalism
April 10 Methodism

You are encouraged to come and bring someone with you as
we meet in the Fellowship Hall each Sunday at 6 PM.
